Hello Families!  Here's a look at what we're covering with your kids this month so you can continue growing at home during the week.  

A 4-WEEK SERIES:  Measure Up 

Week 1:

This week, kids hear about Jesus and his family's escape to Egypt

• THE BIG IDEA:  God guides us to safety  
• THE BIBLE: Matthew 2:13-23

Week 2:  

This week, kids hear about Jesus at the temple as a boy and what others learned from him.          

• THE BIG IDEA:  We can love God with our actions
• THE BIBLE: Luke 2:41-52

Week 3: 

This week, kids hear about what happened when Jesus was baptized by John.    

• THE BIG IDEA: We can follow Jesus 
• THE BIBLE: John 1: 29-42

Week 4

This week, kids hear about how Jesus began his ministry to calling the right people to work together with him.  

• THE BIG IDEA: God makes us ready at the right time.     
• THE BIBLE: Matthew 4:12-23

Week 5

This week, kids hear about Jesus being tempted in the wilderness and how he overcame.
