One of the most powerful things you can hear is, "I've been there. I know what you're talking about. You are not alone."

It's something that I have observed over the years while being part of a small group.  Someone might be battling cancer, going through a divorce, struggling with anxiety and depression - and inevitably someone else says, "I've been there."  Oftentimes that empathy is the first step toward comfort and healing, but it can also lead to solutions others have found.  

This week as we continue our "Team Up" series, we will focus on the power of gathering in groups.  In September, we will be launching our group life once again, and it's always good to be part of a group.
