Many times it's our posture not our position that makes us impactful.
I can have a posture of humility in the workplace that encourages others regardless of position. I can have a posture of loving service in my neighborhood whether I'm on the HOA board or not. I can have a posture of generosity to the hurting whether or not I'm positioned with great wealth.
This week we conclude our series on Isaiah. We've enjoyed a whole summer learning from what some have called the 5th Gospel. It's been a book of such comfort and perspective on who God is.
But we wouldn't have these words if Isaiah didn't respond to God's calling. This week we'll learn from his posture and the words he spoke, "Here am I, send me."
Where might God want to use you? How can we keep a posture of openness to wherever God is calling us?
