Does God’s plan ever puzzle you—or even frustrate you? You’re not alone. God’s ways can feel mysterious, even unsettling. As we talked about last Sunday, why would a loving God allow floods to devastate Texas? And this coming Sunday, we’ll explore why, in Isaiah 45, he calls a ruthless pagan king his “anointed” to save His people.
We often ask: “God, what are you doing? Why this pain? Where are you?” Yet Isaiah 45:15 calls him the “God who hides Himself”—sovereign, loving, but, to us, not always clear. This Sunday, we’ll wrestle with these hard questions, exploring why it’s tough to pray, “Thy will be done.” Like clay in a potter’s hands, we’re shaped by a God whose hidden plans always lead to salvation.
