The God Who's Light Breaks Our Darkness

At Amazing Love we have done many character series throughout the summer.  We've looked at Job, Joseph, David, Abraham, Moses, Elijah, Esther, and Jacob.  

This summer we are so excited to consider the life, ministry, and prophetic words of Isaiah.  Isaiah is filled with prophecies about Jesus.  The prophet foreshadows who the Messiah would be and what he would come to do.  These prophecies are filled with hope.

And God's people needed hope.  Times were bleak and desperate spiritually speaking.  Rebellion over God's clear decrees had been going on for years.  Exile for God's people was coming. 

Do you need hope?  Has life seemed bleak and desperate at times?  I can think of no better way to find hope than come for this powerful series and focus on the greatness of God.   This week we'll consider how God is a God whose light breaks our darkness.
