Self-Deception
We are masters of self-deception. We see it when we open a bag of chips and convince ourselves we are only going to eat a couple. But soon the bag of chips is half full. We see it when we say we're going to the gym, but the gym bag isn't packed and there isn't a time planned out.
Spiritually speaking we deceive ourselves as well. We may rationalize why we sin and do what we do. We may even deny that we've ever done wrong.
As we continue in our series Malevolent, we'll unmask our self-deception and find ways to move forward with honesty and the grace of God. In all of it we'll see our need for our Savior Jesus once again!
