Dirty Ministry is an opportunity to serve struggling neighbors in ways that are uncomfortable for most of us. These service days are the second Saturday of each month. They are open to everyone willing to get dirty fellowshipping with new friends in chaotic—sometimes dire circumstances.
Service opportunities range from cutting and delivering firewood to repairing rotted bathroom floors to cleaning. Needs range from experienced skilled mechanical and structural repair to manual labor. There is also a need for people to clean and lead a crew of youth in accomplishing a labor intensive task.
The work normally lasts four hours at the site and includes lunch depending on the type of work.
"Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world." James 1:27
